Despite their season ending in late October, the Cardinals demonstrated great strength and discipline throughout the qualification round. Although the team achieved significant statistical milestones, scoring a total of 55 goals, the players themselves also set impressive personal records this season.

For a strong team like the Cardinals, it’s not that much of a surprise to see the players having phenomenal individual records. For example, Wilguens, the forward of the Cardinals, set a remarkable number this season. With 15 goal contributions in 9 matches, he stands in second place in the most goal contributions. That shows how much Wilguens improved both in punctuality and skill, compared to last year, when he scored only 1 goal in 2 matches

The leading goal contributor for the team, Sebastian, has 27 goal contributions in 8 games. He was always a nightmare to his opponents. Even during the previous season, he set records by scoring 7 goals in just 5 games. Great first season, but he improved monstrously this season.

Just by analyzing these few stats, it’s safe to say that the Cardinals have improved drastically in these 3 seasons. With an early exit to Wingate (2-1) in 2023-24, they stood up strong and secured back-to-back qualifications in the last two years. In the following season, the Cardinals lost to Morris Educational Campus (4-0) in the 1st round of the playoffs, and finally, this season’s exit was through a penalty shootout, and that alone shows how much they’ve improved. With the next season coming, there are a lot of surprises to expect from the Cardinals.
